Check out bavsound, idk if they are just BMW but they offer upgraded sound systems and stuff that directly replace the stock items (super easy and clean install) and seem to be really fairly priced.

Yup, BMW only.

There’s a few upgrade kits and whatnot out there by Soumatrix. None of which fit facelift models for whatever reason.

Side note: still driving the Jetta? Sure you want to upgrade the speakers if you aren’t planning to keep it much longer?

I’ve usually bought speakers in local stores - typically Best Buy on sale. I know the prices are usually a lot higher, but I like the ability to bring them back without shipping if they don’t fit or I don’t like the way they sound.

Might as well, I’m a bit of an basshead and whenever I crank it up I rattle the fuck out of quite literally everything in the car.

I may hang onto it for around two more years because of the warranty and just get something on the side.
